Sampling comments: "The study was conducted from August 20 to September 4, 2012. We first created a non-overlapping 8 m x 8 m grid across the study area, with each grid cell 2.5 km2 (Figure 1). In each cell, we placed a [Bushnell Infrared Trophy] camera... We placed 7.5 L of whole-kernel corn (the maximum amount of bait allowed by the Michigan Department of Natural Resources) at each site 6 to 7 meters from the cameras"
